Thursday evening

We found out tonight that the doctor is going to let me stay again tonight because of my blood pressure, and I'll be reevaluated in the morning. The nice thing is that we don't have to leave Reagan yet! But on the other hand, we're ready to sleep in our own bed again.

Reagan just ate 50 ml of formula and is having lots of messy diapers! All of this is great news because she should get over the jaundice more quickly this way. They'll check her counts again in the morning and determine how long she needs to be under the lights.

Ashton is doing great! He's stayed with two different families from GracePoint this week, started Mother's Day Out, became a big brother, and saw a marching band with drums. It's been a big week for our little man! Thankfully, he's done extremely well all week, which takes a huge stress off of us. We're so blessed to have such wonderful friends . . . and an easy-going, sociable son! We're anxious to see him again and to see him with his baby sister. And when that happens, it means that we're all finally together as a family of 4!

The news gets better with each passing day. The time for all of you to go home is gettijg closer. By this time next week you parents, Heidi, will be arriving or close to it. I am sure Ashton has been the perfect little trooper. Soon all four of you will be together....a perfect little family....this has only been a small bump in the road...it has certainly been conducive in building your faith and trust in the Lord and see God at work....
Sometimes we need detours on life's journey.....as a reminder of God's love and care in our lives.
OK, precious Reagan, let's continue with the forward progress!
