The past 24 hours

Well, we've been home now since yesterday around 5 or so, and it's really been good to be here. Ashton was very excited when we picked him up, and we couldn't believe how much he had changed in just a week! He's definitely going through a growth spurt, and I think his vocabulary increased as well.

Last night, we just hung out here at home and relaxed together as a family. Then this morning, we took Ashton to Chick-fil-a for lunch and to play for a bit. After that we went to Bass Pro Shop so he could see the "amamals." He loved seeing the animals and sitting in the boats. Talk about a cheap outing!

This afternoon Justin and I went to see Reagan and spend some time with her. We had gotten a call this morning that she was moved to the IMC (intermediate care) sometime during the night since she's doing so well. She's looking better and better everytime we see her, and we can't wait to bring her home on Monday!

We took Ashton to see her tonight - siblings can visit at certain times on Saturdays - and he seemed very excited the whole way there. As we walked in he kept saying, "Baby Reagan, baby Reagan." But once we got in there, he wasn't sure what to think or do. I think once we're at home, and in a familiar environment, he'll feel more comfortable. He was actually more interested in the baby next to us because that baby was crying and getting a bath. Reagan was just sleeping and probably seemed pretty boring. :)

I took more pictures today, but I'm exhausted, so I'll post the pictures in the morning. I just wanted to at least give a written update.

Thanks for your continued prayers for us. We're really doing well, and amazingly, haven't even cried over leaving Reagan. We just keep looking ahead to Monday and are cherishing every moment we have with her until then.

We like the cheap outing! How cool! It's so nice when they are young and cheaply entertained. We took Jordan and Savannah to see Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D yesterday. Not really cheap entertainment, but they sure enjoyed it. Then, we made the mistake of taking Savannah into an all girls clothing store, not cheap either. Jordan even found him a Webkinz in the store. WOw! It is amazing to see how much they change over the years. We can't wait to see Ashton walking and talking. Wow! I need a new picture too for my phone. We are so glad Reagan is doing so well. I am sure you are treasuring every moment. We wish you all the best as you bring her home tomorrow. God is so faithful!

Much Love and Prayers,
Wes and Tara
