More pictures

We just got back from spending more time with Reagan. She's looking quite good and is now in a regular bassinet instead of the incubator. The results of her lab work are still inconclusive as to whether or not she has an infection - but they're treating her with antibiotics to be safe.

They lowered her oxygen flow to 1, and the doctor thinks they'll be able to remove it altogether this afternoon. He's pleased with her progress, but the part that is taking more time is her feeding. As I mentioned earlier, she is taking formula, but she needs to be able to take more so that they can lower her fluid intake through the IV. We both got to hold her for a while, and I tried to nurse her and gave her a bottle. She's definitely looking pretty yellow, but at this point, they don't need to put her under the lights. They'll check her bilirubin again in the morning to see.

I know every parent thinks that they have a beautiful baby, and we certainly think that! But, apparently, so do alot of the nurses! Reagan's nurse told us last night that people keep coming over to admire our pretty pink baby. She's a precious little girl!

It looks like I'll probably be discharged tomorrow. Thankfully, that means that I'm finally healthy! But, the thought of leaving my baby here is killing me. We're just praying that she'll be healthy enough to come home soon! The NICU doctor hasn't given any indication as to when Reagan will go home, but he did say today that we'll be making good friends wih the nursing staff. So, it sounds like it may be a while. But, God can do anything and heal her at any time!

Thanks so much for all of the prayers and support! We appreciate it so much.

Hey guys! Can you tell we are in love with the blog and precious Reagan???? It is a great way to stay in touch and in the know. Reagan and ya'll are on the prayer list at both Immanuel and First Baptist courtesy of my dad. Shelly Rosenthal and Brintey Nalley wanted us to tell you guys "Hi" and that they are praying as well. They both said how beautiful she is. Shelly is Jordan's teacher this year. Anyways, we just wanted ya'll to know how many people are praying for the four of ya'll. Reagan is just gorgeous! We fall more in love with her everytime there are new pictures. Heidi you look so great! I love the pictures of you sitting in the chair holding her and feeding her. Aren't girls great! Savannah and Jordan both think she is just wonderful. They can't wait until they can come see her and Ashton. We told them maybe next summer. We are glad to see the Lord answering prayers in Reagan's life. We continue to pray for a speedy healing and coming home.

Much Love,
Wes and Tara
